Awards are an important part of McGill's List, because they are a powerful way to make a statement about the things we wish to encourage in society. Since inception I have sought to discreetly recognize significant contributors to the arts and to positive culture. In each of the award categories below, we hope to choose from nominations, those individuals that can be held up to society as examples of souls who are worthy to stand as positive role models to our youth. We seek to call attention to those who exemplify positive human values by posessing the courage to live and work with integrity, honesty, kindness, dilligence, longsuffering, compassion, creativity, generosity and intelligence.
The awards are quietly awarded without ceremony or fanfare. Award selection and confirmation are without political, societal or financial influence, and stand as a pure gesture of commendation for the contributions of the recipient. Beholden to no influence, partiality or structures of power, the award is accessible to talent and persons of all stations, affiliations and localities, contingent upon their contributions satisfying the objectives of our mission to promote what is good.
1) How does one make a nomination?
Please email all nomination letters to awards@bryantmcgill.com. Include a proposed nominee and details of the nominee's qualifications, including your opinions explaining why the potential nominee should be considered. We will not answer any communication queries. Though we are now using only digital communications, those who still have the physical address may send nomination letters to that address if they wish.
